The Shape of The Land

C$40.00Price
  • The Shape of The Land is my interpretation of the Vietnamese folktale of Lạc Long Quân and Âu Cơ, the sea dragon and the mountain fairy who fell in love and had 100 children. When they decided to go their separate ways, Lạc Long Quân took 50 of the children to raise in Southern Vietnam and Âu Cơ took the other 50 children to raise in Northern Vietnam. If you look closely at the ground Âu Cơ is standing on, you may notice that it's in the shape of the country.
